Matt Seigel Headshot

Matt Seigel, CEO and Executive Producer of Envision Festival a four-day celebration that brings together a community of people from across the globe joins Enterprise Radio.

Listen to interview with host Eric Dye & guest Matt Seigel discuss the following:

  • Please explain to our listeners a little bit about your background and how Envision got its start.
  • How has Envision developed over the past 6 years?
  • What is the role of community within the festival and how has that role evolved?
  • Do you have any advice for people who may want to make their own visions become realities?
  • What does the future of Envision look like to you?

Matt’s educational journey began with a BS in Finance and minor in East Asian Religions at Lehigh University in Pennsylvania. After college, he spent 2 years in the NYC financial world as a corporate consultant, while simultaneously attending, volunteering or working as many festivals and events as time allowed. When the 2008 financial crisis liberated him from the corporate machine, Matt picked up and moved to Colorado to fulfill a lifelong dream of teaching ski lessons at Vail Ski Resort.

In 2011, while consistently knee deep in the powdery aspen groves of a record snowfall season, Matt co-founded and produced the first Envision Festival ~ Costa Rica.  In the 6 years since its establishment, Matt has been a driving force behind Envision’s growth, artistic direction and leading edge user experience design. In that time, he has also co-produced, consulted for and fulfilled an assortment of core staff position for many events across the United States. Matt currently resides in and around Dominical, Costa Rica immersed by plants, animals and energy of the rainforest. He is a vegan, an aspiring herbalist and is always focused on ways to strengthen and build the community he loves so dearly.
