Mr. Wilbur C. Milhouse III is a recognized and accomplished entrepreneur. He is the Founder and President/CEO of Milhouse Engineering and Construction, Inc. (Parent Company), established in 2001. Mr. Milhouse is instrumental in the growth of his six companies. Concurrently, there are two subsidiary companies of the Milhouse parent company: Milhouse Construction, Inc. and Milhouse Technologies, Inc. Mr. Milhouse leads his companies’ goals to provide excellent service through quality work performed with integrity. His beliefs are based on the confidence of hiring great people; challenging them to excel; and maintaining a laser focus on the needs of the clients.

Mr. Milhouse possesses over twenty-one years of diversified experience in civil and structural engineering. He is an alumnus of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where he obtained his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and his Master of Science in Structural Engineering. He is a Licensed Professional Engineer in the following locations: Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia, Washington D.C., and Wisconsin.

Milhouse Engineering & Construction, Inc. (MILHOUSE) was incorporated in 2001 by Wilbur C. Milhouse III. The Milhouse parent company encompasses a full-service architectural and engineering firm with more than 80 employees. Milhouse specializes in 11 specific markets including: aviation, construction, education, energy, environmental, facilities, healthcare, program management, site civil, transportation and water/wastewater.  The firm provides a diverse portfolio of services including: Civil, Construction, Electrical, Energy, Environmental, Mechanical, and Structural engineering services along with architecture services.  With its latest water/wastewater endeavors, Milhouse is proud to be a part of the  high profile CAMBI project at District of Columbia Water and Sewer Authority (DC Water) in Washington, D.C. – complete with its state-of-the-art new technology biosolids management process.  The CAMBI installation at Blue Plains will be the first such system installed in the United States, and the largest CAMBI installation in the world.  CAMBI selected Milhouse as the Engineer of Record for the mechanical systems.

Milhouse’s project portfolio includes other large, complex and noteworthy engineering projects such as the 9-27C and 10-28C runway designs at Chicago O’Hare International Airport; the mechanical design for Clarence Buckingham Fountain; the retro-commissioning services for ComEd’s Smart Ideas® program; and the program management services for the Public Building Commission of Chicago.

Under the leadership of the executive team, Milhouse’s wildly important goal is to become the largest engineering firm in the Chicagoland area.
