Brenda B. Shapiro is a Family Law attorney and litigator.  She established the Law Offices of Brenda B. Shapiro, LLC in 1994 where she is Managing Partner. Brenda is a University of Miami graduate.

Brenda also practices the dispute-resolution method known as Collaborative Law which emphasizes family-focused decision-making, cooperation, commitments to a faster process, potential cost savings and family privacy – all without court intervention. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Collaborative Family Law Institute where she is a founding director.

Brenda is a member and former Chair of the City of Miami Civilian Investigative Panel a panel charged with investigating citizens’ complaints of police misconduct.  She served as Chair of the City of Miami Community Relations Board and is also a member of the Mayor’s Blue Ribbon Committee on Economic Initiatives for the City of Miami.
